Sean O’Donnell carries on the family tradition of running a busy town centre pub like his father John before him. Sean, now in his 20th year at The Kings Arms on Bedford’s busy St Marys street provides a respite for the weary stranger and local alike. The Kings Arms provides a relaxed daytime venue for business meetings, casual lunches with friends & family or just somewhere to snatch a quick bite & beer before re-joining the treadmill of the daily grind.

Ample parking, free wifi, freshly cooked food using local produce provide a menu that caters for most tastes with a large selection of Beers, Guest Ales, Wines, spirits and soft drinks. Four years running in The Good Beer Guide. The Kings Arms can also accommodate & cater for family gatherings from Christenings to Wakes with ease.

The large garden can seat up to 60 and has a dedicated secluded smoking area that is heated when the mercury falls.

As the sun drops under the yard arm the welcoming atmosphere continues while we entertain you with poker nights every Thursday and Quiz night every first Monday of each month.
Saturday nights at the Kings Arms are legendary. Up and coming bands vie with established favourites to fill the pub to its 200 person capacity, upstairs seating allows the less energetic to look on towards a full dance floor while the band do “their thing”. Watch out for extra live music on Friday nights or Sunday afternoons.
